Fun article. I especially enjoyed it because I am currently refurbishing a 64.5 convertible with a 260. However my 260 is a V8 not an inline 6. I am guessing there is a mistake there somewhere.

That is what I thought too about the 260 remark.  Wasn't the 260 a thin walled XP motor that Shelby snapped up for his first few Cobras?  I did not check the c.i. displacement for a slant six.

Not sure what year but I believe there were 240cu. In. Inline cylinder engines.

The 200 In Line 6 is pretty much an Indestructible Motor. Not sure about the 170 though.
