That would take some mad forensics but a remarkable achievement if one were to succeed. For starters we can whittle it down to what, 999 cars or 1,001 or something. Second, the car looks black so that takes it down to what, 800 or so? Third, I suspect the photo was taken in California so perhaps the car was assigned duty at LAX or San Francisco? Where to go from there...

Actually I think it could possibly be narrowed down to less than about a dozen potential cars with more information that number might also be reduced.

843 didn't have any LeMans stripes on her from what I recall you wrote.  You indicated that you had stripped down the repaint to the original paint and saw no stripes?  I think the photo car with Ken Miles has stripes.

I think the car Miles was in looks black and gold.  Can we all stipulate to black as the color?  If so, what would be the next step to chase down the car?  I'm out of ideas.  Unless there was someone on scene that has an independent recollection of this car and they happen to still be alive and further, that they happen to be on this site and read this comment.
