I recently bought 3 automotive books from an online auction, the main one is "Remembering The Shelby Years" was previously owned by Michael Max Didier, who is he? The book is filled with signatures & notes, more than 25 including Carroll's, from people who worked at Shelby in the early years. It seems that everybody knew him.

Thanks in advance for your time & comments.

Sometimes people send items to people to sign along with a prepaid return envelope. I'd wager with his address in the book to assure it's return this is how it got so many signatures.

Looks like he's 58 so probably not around at the time: https://nuwber.com/person/563a7f90e0cd4806cb8e10fb

Max is in quotes which means it's a nickname not his middle name. Give the guy I linked a call and see if it was his book.
