True NOS caps are almost unheard of. Most caps are service parts and lack original trademarks. Emblems are easily swapped. I am only aware of two production 1968 emblems, the Shelby Cobra for GT 350/500 and the Cobra Jet for the KRs

These emblems were made in Milwaukee, WI by the Brady company. Its possible there were slight variations over the production run.
