So youre doing something that is morally sketchy and probably illegal. Why not make a youtube video and document it?

And while you are at it, rat out your buddy.

This is what the hobby has to deal with. Read the comments and see how many people are excited!

On the Youtube, it's all about content.

Won't be the first, or last time, that a rare car rises from the ashes. Potentially speaking.

It is the whole Steve Austin thing, we can build him better, with new components.

Whole Cra* ! Another YouTube expert. Love when he thinks he's schooling the last guy (and those watching) where that trusty VIN was located in the door jamb.

Just another head shake. Please don't be "that guy". That school bus is getting crowded

Seems to me that the car should be the topic of one of those what part ( if any) was left of the original car. Besides jacking up the VIN and moving it. Seems that car "needs everything" .

Definitely another ship of theseus paradox has commenced here

Best of luck to all parties involved!

I KNOW the history of my cars and if I don't KNOW the history I have zero interest in a lot of the junk that comes out of the woods these days.

98SVT - was 06GT

And he had the nerve to call the guy who cut out the shock towers "sketchy".

But since we are talking "Q" codes allow me to ask, Does anyone know 0R05Q147920? This was my second Mustang ever, I have found it on the internet as a "Calypso Coral" restoration. However when I owned it in the 1980s it still wore it's original Acapulco Blue paint. This car was sold as a bare shell to Scott Thomas. Later on I heard from a later owner. Just checking on where it may be. I will be looking for other CJ cars I have owned as I find the paperwork for them.

Still wondering where she is.

John,
Last I heard after I sold that 'Q' Mach 1, it was in the Sun Valley area. Kinda ironic, that's where you had it before you sold it to me in the 1980s!
Have you done a VIN search?

Not recently, that is one I would like to have back.
