I sold my K Code convertible, but the new owner did not want the Motor I was working on (2 years of finding parts). the machine work was performed by an excellent engine builder in Maryland (I can give his contact info to any buyers if they have questions). I just picked everything up from his shop and decided to sell it to someone who needs it. Here are the details:

All Machine work has been completed, the block is bare and .30 over - Mains aligned and honed, Balanced

It is a VIN stamped motor, Dated B111 stamped 6R07K186586

HIPO Heads rebuilt, mismatch date codes B-25-66, and J-30-65

It has everything you need, except the intake, valve covers, and distributor

Everything is ready to assemble including

Machined and balanced flywheel w new tooth ring

Correct HIPO connecting rods with Pistons and Rings installed

Correct HIPO Main caps

Correct Balanced HIPO Crank

Correct CAM

New lifters, screw in studs, correct Hipo Rocker arms
Full gasket set

New correct Oil pan

Ford Water pump (needs to be rebuilt)

I have a complete listing of every part that comes with this motor, along with a full invoice of all work performed. Full photos available upon request. Located in Frederik MD.

I am probably in this motor for about $10,000.00, but I would let it go for less - Make me a decent offer and it could be yours. I can also have the machine shop assemble it for an additional $1,000.00 (aprox)

What is the B111 date for the block?
That doesn't sound what is typical for block dates. Can you post or send a pic of the block casting date?

Kevinloe

You are correct - the machine shop gave me the wrong date code - it is dated 6B4.  Please see attached pics.
