CSX2523

Dear Members,

Here are some news regarding CSX2523, an unrestored 289 from the end of 1964 (november)

The car was originally delivered by Hi Performance Motors in LA, in Princess Blue.
Regarding the start of her history, we have no clue about what she did but she was registered "PAJ 740" California black plates.

Soon after, John GARRETT bought the car and raced it in local evens (slalom, ontario, SCCA meeting, there are stamped plates in the dashboard) the car was aluminium polished with black center trips. It was spotted at SAAC-3 convention in 1978.

Since 1970s, the car is exactly in the same condition, except the wheels (but we have the original ones!)
We do have the top, what looks like to be the original Tonneau, rack and pignion steering, tinted sun visors... all the original option from the Bill Of Sale are still fitted with the car.

Our family bought the car in 1996 and we still have it. She runs perfectly and we enjoy it as much as the first day, in our french country roads.

Of course, we are really interested to learn more about CSX2523... if anybody have some informations regarding the car we would be so happy to hear it.

I don't know if the pictures linked here will works but if it don't I will create a youtube video with pictures of the car.

With passion,
CSX2523.
