Another company leaving CA. I suspect their casting plant will relocate after the HQ is settled elsewhere.

100% correct, a friend of mine works for Edelbrock and said as soon as the carbon tax / cap and trade program comes on line in CA (which is being phased in right now) it will not be cost effective to stay.

The "cheap" renewable solar and wind power is also driving up the price of electricity not to mention the brown outs since most of the natural gas and oil fired generation plants have been closed. The foundry used 100% electric to melt the aluminum and it was using the cheap electricity from the San Onfrie nuke plant but since Edison screwed up the redesign they have shut it down and are decommisioning it.
