The C8R didn't exactly set the world on fire at the Roar Before The 24. This is basically a 3 day extended testing session held at Daytona. Out of a field of seven cars the two Corvettes finished 3rd and last, the fastest time was set by Risi Competizone's Ferrari.

We shall see how the 8R progresses, Porsche seemed really quick in addition to the Risi car. Porsche has their new car undergoing some new aero mods which should help top end and low speed grip.

Yes

Not only them but a few have dipped the new GT500 already in the high nines and I applaud that.

The issue is I am totally honest and realize that people unfortunately are comparing the current top of the line mustang gt500 with a supercharger to a naturally aspirated chevy.

Who is far superior in the aerodynamics, aesthetically pleasing, handling and price.

Let's regroup once the ZR1 arrives and hold the comparision then

Merry Christmas

Yes sir you are correct and what we are about to express will infuriate a few.

Haters will be haters, but you just cant keep this baby down;

2.9 0 to 60mph
1/4 mile 11.3 naturally aspirated
1/4 mile trap speed of 121 mph
193 mph top speed
Starting at $59,995

Did you know that a Forum friend ran a new 2020 GT500 at the track a few weeks ago and produced a 1/4 mile time under 10 seconds....

Yes
Let's do that.
And at that time we can compare the $100,000 + ZR1 against the GT500 that my 21 year old buddy just ran 9's in which bTW,....will be available at MSRP at that time.
RIP KIWI

Yes, just like they were comparing the NA Voodoo GT350/R with the supercharged Camaro ZL1....

9s in a GT500? How much for the car? The car in the link my friend-who now  works at Ford doing  prototype cars- put a "brand new" Camaro into the 9s back in 2012 with ease. Nothing new. He did the same for a friend's "used" 2007 Gt500. He was the "test pilot" and internet sales at Livernois at the time.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx-Rxh2BlPs
