Whats a 1970 R-code Mach 1 SCJ Ram Air- Drag Pack, 4-speed, 3.91 worth?

Its very rusty (floors, quarter, aprons, etc.). Doors aren't too bad, has seat and rear fold down.  Engine and trans is gone.  Rear end it original nodular housing.

What's it worth?  It's going up for sale...

Thanks!

Bigfoot

Wow, that is strong money. I guess the value is that, with that title, and an assemblage of dissociated seemingly original parts from other cars and sources, one can build the illusion of a 1970 SCJ Mach 1 (?).

This one sold for 10,900 in June as a shell with no title!

Be careful in believing what you see.  Just because a car ran up to a certain number on Epay, doesn't mean it truly sold for it regardless of what it says.  There is a lot of monkey business that goes on there.  Besides, I would rather put good money into a Shelby  :).

X2 as there are some good people who have allowed greed and/or ego to make bad decision, who have used Ebay to either artificially inflate a market, or to make a name or market for themselves. Some are under the radar, some have yet to be brought to light, some may never be found out, but in the end, it is this greed, or their own ego that they will have to atone for in the end when they are sitting at those pearly gates before their god.

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

FWIW...In 2014, I sold the car pictured, 70 R code Sportsroof 4 speed, 1 of 4 black on black CJ Sportsroofs for $11,050.  It was a rolling shell on new Radial TA's with correct Argent wheels and rust free except for some pin holes in the front floor pans.  I could have sold 6 of them so I may have sold it too low but that is what I had in it.

That was a great deal for the buyer. The market has changed since 2014 too. Prices are high. I would bet that you could come close to double that price if sold today.

So much crap going on in Ebay its untrue

Same cars bidding up and selling time and time again
