67 Shelby GT350 Air Cleaner Base

1967 GT350 without smog Air cleaner Base. For those that are in the know this is a extremely rare part.  For those that do not know the 1967 GT350 without smog had a open element breather cap on the driver side valve cover and this is the special factory engineered base for that application. A small rubber cap cover the open 1/8 nipple. The 65,66 68 and 69/70 GT350's all had what is referred to as closed emission caps that vented to the air cleaner base with a large diameter hose regardless if they had smog or not . The 1967 had a 1 year exemption. These are not reproduced.  You could of course cap a cheapo repro and it will work fine but for those that only want genuine this is a rare opportunity.  500.00 shipping and insurance is extra.
