What is correct for a January '68 built GT500 (-01904) for a Group 24 or Group 27 battery and would it have a battery heat shield?

Seen all combinations at SAAC 51/MCA 50 show,

Thanks.

Only Group 24s in 1968, heat shields are debated if you have AC yes

Believe he is stating that there are Ford documents and original examples that state and support Mustangs and Shelby's with Air conditioning received battery shields from the factory
