Thanks for posting, would like to have heard him respond to the cars being messed with in Europe and hiring "guards" to keep outsiders from sabotaging them - rags in fuel tanks etc.  And all the M-80's.

I was fortunate to visited with Peter Brock this past weekend at the Pacific Northwest Historics at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA.

He said it was horse hair in the gas tank.  When the team called back to the guys in California, on the phone they heard "Hoare's Hair".   Everyone was wondering why Jack Hoare's hair was in the gas tank.  Haha.   The phone call was not super clear and a little scratchy.
