I have 2 unpublished photos the Shelby-Dowd Indycar.

It only wore this livery without sponsorship with Danny Ongais name on it for one week before Danny crashed at Phoenix in March of 1971. Danny quit the team after the crash.

Danny is pictured here pulling out of the pits and onto the track. The crash happened minutes later. The photographer that took these pics, ran onto the track and retrieved a handful of debris!

Which car is that? Is it the Eagle Weslake-Ford that Carroll Shelby bought from Dan Gurney (chassis no. 701)?

I believe so as that is the only car that Danny Ongais was ever listed to have been a driver.
