Yes, I'm not saying they are all the same just that it appears the contours of the red pair off my friend's convertible match the contour on my 68 GT500 FB and the inside area is the same length as see by the tape measure. My next step is to put them back on his convertible. He said they fit fine but I will double check this weekend. Just like the side scoops for 68s there are probably variations like Bill Collins showed. Gary

S I just set the end caps back on the convertible they cane off of. I find no difference of them being on either car so my opinion they are the same .

Until someone submits earlier documentation that proves otherwise, it is evident that there is no intended/designed difference between the '68 convertible and fastback quarter end caps; they are interchangeable, utilizing one part # and engineering #.
