I'm thinking of buying a 2020 GT350. I'm leaning toward the Heritage R edition. I want the lowest mileage possible - yes I know with less than 100 miles the ask is $140-170.
Is it worth it?
It will become an occasional driver/canyon runner and the only reason I want such low mileage is to assure it's broken in right and no one has banged a carbon fiber wheel off a curb (I plan on storing those with the original tires) and putting on some forged aluminum wheels and more sensible street tires.
Yes I know SA is offering a new GT350 but it pales in comparison to the ones SVT built. It would be under $125.

2020 GT350R a modern day classic.

It's an excellent choice a very functional, competent, drivable, reliable and enjoyable vehicle.

I already own a 98 SVT 32V Mustang that Ford branded as a Cobra.
For me it's not what Ford marketing named it's what the SVT engineers created. If I had 300+ grand I'd buy a GTD. There is also the dilemma that the Darkhorse is close - brand new and a "mere" 80 grand

We also have owned the SVT 32 valve critters, naturally aspirated and charged love them.

Don't want to start a pissing contest, but for the money WE would pick any of the C8 variations over any dark horse or GTD any time any day.

Just our opinion

I'm not sure my junk back would allow me to crawl into one of the plastic fantastic cars. The wife's 04 Bird is bad enough. I've already ruled out the Recaro option.
I noticed Chevy also jumped on the "R" designation......
