Strut rod bushing washer

Does the cupped side of the washer go to the bushing?  The washers I have say this side to rubber, which is the flat side.

From the factory the cup side goes to the rubber. I am sure there is a reason that some after market washers have that on them that indicates the opposite . Regardless if it was ok for Millions of Fords I am confident it will be OK for you. FYI NPD and others sell concours correct washers shaped properly and of course without the stamping if needed.
