I'm looking for info on the carburetor on my 67 GT350 with automatic transmission, specifically the type of choke. It now has a 715 Holley which was on it when I first saw it in August of 1967. I know that automatics had Autolite carbs but I would Like to know if all carburetors on 1967 GT350s had manual chokes.

Yes, they typically had a manual choke regardless of if a Autolite or Holley carb. Some later 67 GT350 automatic cars had 715 Holley. Those cars had a manual choke along with a dashpot and bracket from a Autolite carb.

Here is a picture of #2339 taken many years ago.  A GT-350 automatic and May 23rd completion date.

Thank you Mr Gaines for the info and the picture. I feel better now that there were some autos with 715s. My carb and setup look just like the pic (only not NEARLY as clean). I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure mine had an early June completion. Thanks again.

Sorry! I meant to be thanking Bill Gaines for his input. I also appreciated your pic. Again, sorry.

Sorry, a bit late to this thread.  Buddy has a early '67 GT350 Auto, low 1xx Shelby VIN ) he bought in 1971 here is the Holley 715 that was on it, dash pot on right (green arrow) and manual choke arm on the left.
