Description:

1966 Ford Mustang GT350H (HERTZ) Numbers matching engine! as most know the stories of how most of the Hertz mustangs do not have their original engines because people would rent them on a Friday and return them on Monday without the high performance engine the car had on Friday, however this Mustang does retain its original engine! Hipo C4 automatic transmission, This Hertz has gone through a "everything" off Rotisseries nut & bolt restoration (with no expense spared) and finished in 2015, 2 owner car with 2nd owner having owned since 1981, the Restoration was done by the very well known company known as Restoration Technique in Waller Texas owned by Danny Kurtz, This Shelby is in fact in the Shelby Registry, Howard C. Pardee of the Shelby American Automobile Club has verified the Serial # SFM6S1890 as being authentic and this letter will come with the car, have registration receipts from all owners from day one, there is a 3 inch binder full of pictures of the restoration- stacks of original parts order/ maintenance receipts, tons of invoices and work orders from the restoration, lots of personal correspondence with shelby american automobile club during ownership and much more. I am not going to fill up this description section describing this car because I want to simply say this is one of the finest and most well restored cars I have ever seen or had the pleasure of selling! the body is laser straight, the paint is absolutely show quality, the undercarriage is amazing, the engine bay is beautiful,This Shelby is a very correct and original car! I will say that the pictures in this ebay auction are not great however the videos should be crystal clear and if they are not  then message me and I can email them directly to you. This Shelby Hertz looks more beautiful in person and was lovingly and passionately restored by the family I am selling this car for. there are NO disappointments in this car! there are people who own several cars in their collection but if someone was to have only ONE car in their collection, this Shelby would easily be that ONE car to be proud of! pre purchase inspections are very welcome, I am happy to help arrange transport to buyers home town so just ask me if interested in me helping to arrange transport.

I always think it is funny to see a otherwise historically correct engine compartment with a modern white with red lettered battery liability tag. Those were first included with the New Castle Battery Co. fresh on the scene repro Autolite batteries 30 years ago. They were meant to be taken off when the new repro battery was installed. When has anyone ever seen one in a vintage photo? They were never on original 60's batteries but came out in the late 70's or 80's on new batteries because of this litigant crazy society. The New Castle battery and that tag have been copied so much over the years that the modern white/red tag has been taken for granted as original too. So much so ironically that the repro sticker/label/tag companies have copied it also. It is of course a deduction in concours venues .
