In the issue of Classic and Sports Cars, January 2021, on page 48 a gentleman recalls meeting Moyra Goff in 1985 on a highway outside of London.  He was driving a classic Jaguar E-type and spotted her cruising along in her AC 289 Cobra.  He pulled over to speak with the then 80 something year old, who informed him that she was the original owner of the car and it was her daily driver.  Wow.

I did a search and found the car, COB6021.  She sold the car at age 92, and passed a few months later.  She obviously couldn't live without it.

I'm sure the Cobra folks already know everything about this car, but I thought some of the newer forum members might find this interesting.
