I am restoring my 65 K code Dearborn built convertible. The silkscreen on the door tag is weathered so now the tag is just bare aluminum.  I would like to know if it should be Black or Gray?

The original color is Tropical Turquoise and the car was built Jan 15th 1965?

Can anyone tell me what the correct color was?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, Im looking for a 4L date coded ( November 1964) standard 289 block for my Dec 1964 built Mustang.  Would prefer original bore so it can be machined fresh for my build.  Im located in Napa, California.

If you have one in this date range please reply to this post or you can call me at 707-227-6604

Thanks.

Does anyone know if the rear seat frames for 65 to 70 mustangs are the same?  I have a really nice 69 coupe rear seat back and base that I want to reupholster and use in my 65 coupe.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

This is the original ashtray from my 1965 GT Fastback.  I bought the car back in 1984 near Winston Salem, North Carolina.  The cars DSO was Charlotte so was probably in the area its whole life.

Can anyone identify the decal shown in the photo? Was it maybe from a local race track?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
