Has anyone ever checked the original or replacement stripes against the Shelby drawing to see if they match?

My mom would be proud of me using my Math degree I got in 1985.  I also have an Aerospace Engineering degree if we want to talk lift and drag.  And Atmospheric Physics if we want to discuss the weather.

4.33-mm is 0.17-in...not that it matters.  Not 0.0524-in.  Again, not that it matters.

I invite anyone to check my work.

Your length conversion is wrong.

Oops, the previous photo if the prototype.  Here's the ones with wrinkles like the origjnals.

Hey Folks,

A friend of mine needed a couple of the small stamped cover plates so I made them.  I think Branda had some that were fiberglass and they are out of them with no plan to have them in the future.  Tim and Pete said my prototype didn't have the wrinkles as prevalent as the originals so I made them with the wrinkles.

Just make sure the inlet and outlet pipe distance is the same as stock or you'll be modifying the tailpipes too.  And some aftermarket mufflers are too "thick" and don't have the proper room between the tank and rear end.

[/quote]Thanks Scott. What he can't find original he will be buying Scott Fuller pieces or I am not helping him with the restoration.  :) I bet he doesn't have those 68 vert drain plugs.  Gary

Yep, those floor pan plugs will be tough to find too.  Might have to buy a nice original car to get them.  That's what I used to do to get trunk mats.  Find nice original cars (coupes) and buy them for the mat.

BTW Ed, those parts you can't find I took when you weren't looking.
