Was at the show last year in the Boise area. Met up with Marcus Anghel. Got to meet a bunch of Mustang and other Ford owners primarily from the Pacific Northwest. Caravanned with a group from Washington through the Gorge. One of the guys drove his 68.5 from Tacoma or somewhere. Said that he was not afraid to put miles on his Mustang. Great fun, very casual show.

Both of those switches look like the double pin style starting in 1968. At least to me.

Did a quick search on the GT/CS forum and nothing jumped out at me. 5 speed conversion, and a very early built GT/CS, due to the painted framed rear side reflectors.

So this looks like a NOS Hipo pump with the 6 vanes???

It depends on if you care that it is not exactly like a asssemblyine part or not. C5-D is a Ford service replacement not used until after 1965 production was over.

The C5-D core water pump is my listing if anyone is interested.

It does look like the same mirror as installed on a 1968 XR7-G, but without the remote cable.
Maybe it is a non-remote version as used on the passenger side of the 1969 AMC SC Scrambler?

I suggest that you ask for a specific date range. They have dates stamped on them.

The original donut electro magnet type clutch's that I have seen on Shelby's were typically plated zinc silver like the field coil originally.

My research shows that the donut electro magnet style clutch is Pitts manufactured. Am not aware that they are serviced in the aftermarket.

I have seen that style of adjusting idler pulley, but it is definitely not common. Is that a Metuchen thing? or more likely aftermarket replacement?
