CSX 3000 Series / Right hand drive cobras

Spotted this one over the weekend at a car event in SoCal ,I've never seen a right hand drive cobra & looked nice in this color also.

And one of my favorites was the Chris Bannings king of the Hill car a custom 911 Porsche ,this car was infamous. If you're from SoCal or used to drive the Mulholland roads (which I still do in my 911)this car used to terrorize the Mulholland highways back in the day ,some movies and documentaries about it out there ,back when it was just a great underground racing scene, unlike today ,where they got it all shut down as often as possible by CHP the snake is a mess now.

I'm picked up this pretty cool book and had it signed by all the Shelby guest guys that were there

Yeah, I ended up going. It was amazing that the weather cleared up for about 4 hours and it was just perfect, I took my Ford GT and it was pretty nice. I was able to meet Camilo Pardo and he signed my car and I got to chat with him for about 10 minutes next to my car which was really cool. It was my first time visiting the museum and that place really is amazing and I didn't even do the basement tour which I guess has another 250 cars but you have to pay extra for, here's a few of my pics, including a couple of Steve McQueen's cars ,his Jag XJS was to die for.

Bummer looks like it's gonna get rained out on Sunday, but I do say rain or shine not sure I'll be taking my GT in the rain

The Northwest Shelby collection didn't seem to make the broadcast at least not in my area ,they ended  right as they were coming up the staging area's,they showed the yellow kR with the hood up & it had a GT500 air cleaner set up  & a painted black taillight panel.

Yes i'll be there but my shelby won't unfortunately water pump issues ,but i'll be there with my  Ford Gt ,you have to buy ticket as i believe it sells out, they also have free tickets which i got.

I just had  a fresh set of the recommended Bridgestone's put  on my (new to me) Gt ,the car came with the original Goodyears on it still ,which i kept for historical purposes .I figure i see people selling the original Goodyear speedways for our 67 Gt500's for show purposes ,so i might as well save these .

Yeah, it's still amazing that these cars and the Eleanors can go for more than originals that we all love, do you think that would ever change, or are we a dying breed?

Ford GT / Re: How many guys own both

Well, I started this post over a year ago and it took me about that long to find the perfect car, I really wanted a midnight blue Ford GT to go with my Nightmist blue /parchment, 67 GT500 (also a multi year search) & a blue Gt seemed to be the hardest color to get ,I literally looked at every GT that came to market in the last year & there a lot of them, literally a couple a week on BAT.But there were just no blue ones, i joined the GT forum and actually made a post on there and someone reached out that had a minty fresh low mileage one owner, four option ,Midnight blue one ,so now I've got the perfect Ford pair.
