Maybe the large Ford logos or white center stripe will help narrow it down.

Or, maybe, those cool looking Firestone's. 8)

Bare cast iron with semi-gloss black paint hand brushed on the front face...

And, along with a dose of surface rust, they sure look sad, peeking out behind a five spoke mag wheel. So, I just had
the drums powder coated with semi-gloss black. They look great and still do, after about 15 years of use. Since, I do
drive my Shelby ( a lot ) is was a basic, solution, to clean up an ugly spot.

For those of you, who haven't had the pleasure, of installing the 1/4 window trim pieces, please be Aware....

Pay close attention, to the interior sail panels, where the chrome trim, has been cut out for the 1/4 window install.

Sometimes, the SA workers were not too careful and removed too much material and the opening is too large, to
allow, the trim pieces, to fit properly. I noticed that the trim pieces ( originals ) in my Shelby never matched at the ends.
  They were spread apart.

When I went to install replacement trim panels, I found when I had them snugly in the rear, I had about 3/16" gap at
the front and when I moved them forward, I had the same size gap at the rear. Trying to equally place them in the
opening, didn't work, as they just didn't look right.

So my solution, was to procure a real nice set of used interior sail panels and take the time to mark the cut out area
accurately and was very careful, in cutting out the trim pieces. This paid off, as the replacement 1/4 trim pieces, fit
  perfectly.

I'm sure, my Shelby, isn't the only one that came from SA, with this condition, concerning the 1/4 windows.  Just be
aware, it's a possibility and take a close look at what you have.  Good Luck

Branda get $129 for a set of interior panels.

And, none of Brandas, has ever fit.

Just a reminder for fit: sometimes, the SA workers, cut out too much material from the interior sail panels,
leaving an opening too large, for the 1/4 window panels to fit properly...even from the factory.

You could try Charter Auto Transport. #717-961-9386   Ask for Charlene. Her and her boyfriend, are the
owners/drivers. They moved my Shelby and did a great job. Quite satisfied with their service.

I may just go with a 24 series I located locally that has the end tabs for securing using the OEM battery holder.

What brand of battery, with end tabs, did you find, locally?

. LoPo pumps considered also.

You may want to reconsider, using a LoPo standard, water pump.

Been there and it doesn't work out so well. Ask me how I know?

On a warm day and any getting into the throttle, you will overheat.

For me it is all about the 1/4 window. From the moment I saw the window in '66 I knew I had to have one.

Randy, hit the nail on the head. The 1/4 windows, are the major focal point, of the 66's.

So much so, I remember, several friends with '65's, went right over to Shelby's store, in El Segundo, bought
the 1/4 window kits and installed them in their 65's.

One of those 65's, lived in Dave Dralles (rip) shop, for a long time and I bet Randy, knows about it.

I'm leaning toward a guide plate conversion.

+1 That's, what I did, on my HiPo 289 heads. No Problems.

The tires look great but are probably 20+ years old. So currently waiting on tow truck to tow me home.

                     No kidding. Classic cheapness ::)

That is good news!    I think the 225/65R15 May be the choice, on     15 x 7 10 spokes.  They seem to be an almost exact diameter match for the original E70/15#

You have several choices, to choose from, with the diameter, closely matching the original tire size.
The AVON's, are a true, Hi Performance tire. I've been running them for more than 12 years with no
problems. Plus, they have a great period look, tread design.

I've heard the Avons are real sticky and handle great, but they pick up more stones and will sandblast your paint due to their stickiness.

I've been running, AVON CR6ZZ's, for over 12 years, with no sandblasting, of my Shelby's paint and I've
been participating in the GT350 Tours, for the past several years, along with my usual driving. I have all
       4 corners, mounted with 225/65 x 15's on 15 x 8" PS Eng. wheels.
