The problem with some aftermarket points is the rubbing block contact area is smaller and dwell loses spec more rapidly. I have Pertronix in My Mach, no issues for 16yrs.

Id say yes. Cat prints, mud daubers, a nice layer of fine top soil. Everything except the barn itself.

I would think a survivor would be untouched except for necessary mechanical upkeep and cleaning. I would presume to be an unrestored #1 car with much patina throughout.

The exterior aside, Why would you not recondition the engine bay aprons before engine reinstallation? Is this done for effect or budget shortfall?

The floor? Oh that was transportation damage while on route to the dealership. Was there always.

For normal driving I would get some Carquest Gold pads. No noise issues or excessive dust. Best to true up the rotors.

Looks like it could be as rough as the one Heasley found in Ohio.

Disconnect the fuel line at the filter at the carb and run a length of fuel hose to a container. Using a remote starter switch,(key off, coil wire removed). Disconnect front small lead,( red with light blue tracer on my car), on starter solenoid and attach remote starter to solenoid stud and BAT+. Engage starter approx 3 seconds and observe fuel flow amount. If fuel flow looks O-K then check for restriction in carb. Subletting this to a quality local tech is an option.
