6S1348 with a build date late Feb has a fan date is J65. It came on the car but I do not know if it is original.
Front balancer is dated A6.

After reading the Sill Plate Emblem discussion for the 1967s it brings to mind what are the 1966 sill plate styles and how do the relate to Shelby numbers. I know there was past discussion about this but thats gone so here is the new question.

We had a thread on this topic on the old forum, from memory the majority where known. But registry also has a lot of info mate.

I own the last two registries and enjoy reading the newest one now. Having said that using mine as an example it has my name and information but
the last line says current ownership unknown as I recall. I sent current info but for what ever reason the text does not recognize it.
Please do not take this as a criticism as I marvel at the great job SAAC does in web, books, and events...etc.
Just thought this was a item some of the historians here might know.

After seeing the pictures of the 1966 GT 350's I wondered how many of these cars are known and owned regardless of condition?
How many are known to have been destroyed wreck, fire, or other...
I remember seeing a picture of burned out one after a California fire in 2002 I think.

In getting these in for rebuild Ive seen alloy T10s to around serial number 1000  or so. Ive never been able to document an original untouched car that came from SA with a cast iron Tailshaft.  Talking to some of the SA  people years back they knew there was an issue and they thought the tails were replaced by the dealers at no charge if they broke. Ive weld repaired many especially the longer T10L  versions.  On another note.  Ive got SA catalogs showing the T10M  with cast iron tails  being sold over the counter

Did they change over at some point to all iron cases during 1966 production.

I have been reading the 1966 350 valuation post and find it very interesting. I have a question here I would like some clarity on.

I would like to know what is "original drive train"

is that any engine-trans that is vin stamped correct to the car vin from Ford and came in the car from Ford?

is that a hipo and T10 just not the ones that came in the car from Ford?

Not arguing any point just trying to be clear.
