I might have missed some but these are the ones I saw:
GT 500's
0327
1311
1811
1838

GT350's
1286 (had a Paxton on it)
1430
1479 (had Webers on it)
1497
1529 (hubcap car)

Was nice talking with all these owners.  They are keepers!!

Would the owner who I talked to about the taillight wiring on his early car (#026? or 027?) PM me.

If the Tiger mentioned was the red one, it was really super.

Trick for the case: Seems dry ice blasting is the way to go on the case.  Look into that.

SAAC-51 / Re: SAAC-51 Schedule and Guide

Unlikely as The MCA judging will be on Friday and Saturday.  The SAAC Popular vote car show is on Sunday.
Do check with somebody as the MCA wants you to leave your car on the MCA show field so do check with a show official before you move off the MCA area.

I really think Bob G covered it. Ford Accessory manual part, not built on any of the real Shelbys.

Wow, that is bent all kind of wrong ways.

Folks are going to want to know the carb date code. The numbers on the forward choke horn.
I think the pictures show 721. (lighting issue)

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: Gauges Quit Working
August 18, 2026, 12:24:14 PM
The gauges work from a 4.5 to 5.0 supply from the IVR.  To cut it down to that, the 12 volts is "pulsed" in the IVR circuitry. The electronic (new age) IVR supply is constant (4.5 to 5.0) volts, but it does not pulse.

Takes a while to scratch up a new fable.

  And 2001, a Space Odyssey: " I can't open the door Dave".....

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Re: vacuum hose
August 01, 2026, 03:38:38 PM
The issue seems to me the makers all shifted to "metric" sizes and no longer make hose in U.S. dimensions.

Just so you are aware.  You have the face panel.  It's nice but the operative relays and harness make the lights work.  Thought you might like to know.

Quote from: Bulldog90 on July 24, 2026, 09:50:45 AMTo the question about location - yes it was in Salem - One owner car with a book of documentation back to purchase including original invoice (all have been authenticated) - the gentleman that owned it passed away and his wife immediately listed the car as she "hated the car" husband told her he was going to the grocery store one Saturday and came back with a Shelby.  Car is a true time capsule but not perfect of course - but I am going to keep it as is how is and enjoy it - once I get it in my possession I will post some more pictures - Thank you for the comments

  Wife's gotta learn.

On Chicago Fire, the character who plays Severide drives a Mustang.  On the older reruns it's a 68 fastback, on the newer ones that Mustang is way new.
