Jesse, Give Jim my best. I hope he recovers quickly. You guys did my Hertz wheels years ago, and they still look great. Ron McWilliams

6S550 Did not have the studs, pins,, or holes in  the hood when I bought it. The hood might have been replaced, but the paperwork that Howard has doesn't show anything about the hood.Ron

When I bought 6S550, in 1967 it was just like new. Had 3300 miles on it. Hood had no pins, and the hood blew off the next day.Ron

Took 6S550 out to a different kind of car show yesterday. We parked the cars, and people drove by to look at the cars. Had lots of people say "Nice car" or "Beautiful  car". Ron

They were made to be driven, and that is just what we do with 6S550. Ron

Got mine today in Colorado. It had a small amount of damage to the bottom by the back. Hope it doesn't fall apart like the '66 one did. Ron

If you drill out the rivets, be very careful because the heat from the bit can melt the plastic. It's been years since I did this, but I think I used side cutters to cut off the top of the rivet, then punched out the body of the rivet out of the hole. Ron

The mirror on 6S550 is not red. Owned it since ford sold it in 1967.   Ron
