Mustang. Shelby , Boss , 1968/9     9 inch  axle tube.  54 inches flange to flange  .  Bare tube. boiled out at machine shop,  glass beaded to bare steel ,  epoxy primered.  2 hole version as used in 68,69 Mustang and Cougar with 31 spline axles /428 CJ    and 1969 Boss 302/429 
Although this came out of the southwest this has some pitting  which could be taken care of with a couple coats of build primer and some some elbow grease sanding it .  Perfectly good to use as is . If anyone wants more pics  send me an email or call me . i can ship this is but keep in mind it will be in an oversize box.

Shelby  1969/70  Rear lower valance with exhaust opening cut.  I dont normally do these except for our own restorations as they are a real pain in the ass to do  .  but I had another restorer ask me to do 2 for him .  I have a pattern  of an original valance hanging on my wall from an original paint car we restored many years ago . We start with a new best quality standard valence  and slowly carve the hole  until its close to the right shape . then we smooth out the rough spots  close enough  to let the final painter  do the rest.  We ship these in an oversize box  with styrofoam padding  insured.  Price is $225 plus the ride   - around $40    shipping to a business is always cheaper (920) 434 3645   jim at shelby parts  dot com

NOS 289 Hipo Connecting Rods  . 260/289 Shelby Cobra Optional Valve covers - originals

this is a great set of very early  sandcast Cobra powered by Ford valve covers for 260/289 Ford engines.  These were the factory covers listed on one of the Group options when ordering a small block Cobra in 63 or 64.  and were sold by Shelby American in their early cobra dressup kits These early covers were never reproduced and have no markings like the later covers  which then had the Buddy Bar on the inside.  Guaranteed to be originals.  we did a full restoration as they are  almost 60 years old and needed some love.  they were in peally nice shape prior and we didnt have to weld anything  which is rare.  They were cleaned in a jet spray washer,  low pressure glass beaded with fine beads.   any small nicks  were removed from the to be polished areas.  beaded with the proper coarse grit.  finds and letters were carefully sanded to a 600 Grit finish and then sent to the polisher for the factory mirror finish.   Cleaned and ready to install.  will fit all 260/289 engines with a front mount oil fill tube in timing chain cover.  We acquired these for a customer that wanted this look but changed directions when he went to weber carbs..  First $1200 plus the ride.  We perfer paypal friends and family but will take a check or CC.  we will carefully package these in foam and will ship worldwide  .  920 434 3645    Jim@shelbyparts.com

After waiting over a year to get the high quality USA made Cobra Lemans Covers.  I ordered 5 sets and got two.   normal cost on these for incorrect  sanded finish fins and letters is $485  a set.   we make these with concours proper polished fins and letters which is a royal pain to do since they are sanded so rough.  loads of time and material which costs about $125  per set to get them right.   I have one set available which will go on ebay for $595  pr  ifthey dont sell outside ebay this week.      First $575  Postpaid  We prefer paypal friends and family  to our email address   (920) 434 3645   jim@shelbyparts.com

65 289 Hipo K  San Jose drivetrain   for sale.  as taken out of of a running car!  289 Hipo drivetrain. engine assembly and 4 speed top loader transmission.  Both Block and transmission have same  K serial number 5R09K232- - -    Block is cast date 5E26   heads are cast date both 5D27.  Transmission is HEH-T   and comes with original shifter control box / rods and levers. Stock bellhousing  Harmonic balancer is late 64 dated and I had the seal restored by Damper dudes already with a redi sleeve for the timing cover seal.   Has the hipo counterweight on the timing set.  Nice used timing chain cover.   Intake manifold is 5D11 dated. Hipo rods with 3/8 bolts square heads.  L2249 +40 forged  pistons-  Engine looks to have been rebuilt  about ten years back with lifter valley and head surfaces Glyptol red coating.     Appears to have solid lift cam  -  stock rockers and sleds .   Im guessing you could have a shop take this apart.  clean it  with nothing more than a jet spray with soap and water (non caustic) . check the bearings. balance and re-assemble  but Im selling this as a good rebuildable used core    I can band this to a pallet  and ship truck freight for about $250  920 434 3645   jim@shelbyparts.com

I have an extra kit for the 65/66 GT350 Race version rear plexiglass window .  Includes the Formed plexiglas clear window from the original MfG. We had to buy a minimum order 3 of these. These are made slightly larger than the hole in the body to make sure you can trim it nice and tight.     Right and left Formed extruded aluminum spacers.  center front spacer and  riveted side tabs.  $1395 plus the ride.  this will be packed carefully and should be able to be shipped by UPS  or maybe speedee delivery if in their area covered.  (920) 434 3645  jim@shelbyparts.com    Pics to anyone interested .
