1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Traction bar adjustment?
September 20, 2021, 09:49:36 PM
Hey Gang,
On the under rider traction bars there are a stack of washers. Are they there for adjustment/alignment?
If so, what is the procedure for that?

Thanks in advance

That is cool, thanks for sharing.

Also looking for the chrome dealer emblem.
Got any spares, Andy? :)

Were the holes for the hood pins drilled beforehand. I've seen some "clocked" differently (not 12-3-6-9)

Guys (and Gals),
I'm still kinda new to this forum and I'll probably get flamed for this, but I don't see what the big deal is. These cars aren't made of solid gold. They are meant to be driven, or else, what's the point of owning them. I have had my car for about 5 months now and I drive it every chance I get. To Home Depot, the market, the bank, everywhere. I even make excuses to run errands. Now, I don't think I would leave it overnight at the airport, but I'm not going panic if it's in the parking lot.
Life's too short, bang a few gears and have fun.

Wanted to Buy / Hurst shifter for T-10
July 19, 2021, 02:09:16 PM
Hey Guys,
Looking for a Hurst Competition Plus and linkage for a T-10. All you guys that swapped it for a Toploader gotta have one lying around.
If not the shifter, just the linkage is fine too.

Thanks,
Tom

Hi All,
New owner of 66 GT350 6S2228 that was originally purchased at Young Motors in Charlotte. Would like to put vintage plate frames on the car.

Thanks so much,
Tom

Hello All,
Long time lurker first time post. After being on my bucket list for over 35 years, I finally purchased a GT350. As a young man, one of my co-workers had (and still has) a '65 GT350. I was a Camaro/Corvette guy at the time and the ribbing back and forth was constant :) . We have remained friends and he helped me with the purchase on this car.
It is 6S2228, Sapphire Blue 4 speed car. Originally a stripe delete, 10 spoke but the stripes were added during a repaint in the 80's. A T-5 was installed by the previous owner. Both the T-10 and 10 spokes are in the garage. The car also came with chrome Magnums and Torq Thrust.... too many choices

I do have a question that I can't find during a search. What is the correct bulb for the tach? The one I pulled out was burned out and I'm not sure it is correct. I replaced it with a 1895 (same as dash bulbs) ad was so dim I couldn't see anything. I don't want to put the wrong bulb in for fear of damaging the tach.

Looking forward to being part of this great community,

Tom
