Who is Ray Wolff?

Ray Wolff worked for CS and raced a 65 Mustang FB. He was I think manager at HiPerf Motors. When that closed he opened his own sales lot.

Should we start the rumor the front 1/2 of his car was Morrison's GT500?

From my strange Brain..................... If Someone has the actual VIN Number, enough money and time, they could easily do some thing like a "Re-Body" Restoration of JM's Shelby.  You can find most, if not all of the needed used parts to turn a very good used 1967 Mustang Body (the right Body) into a 1967 Shelby GT 500.  Cut out the VIN's and weld the space sup and restamp with the new VIN.  once totally completed, age it and place it in a drafty dusty old Barn out in the middle of no where long enough to get it coated with a lot of Dust, wait for the right people at SAAC to die off and then "FIND IT".

We agree with you 100% then its off to the highest bidder.

I received a letter back from Anne Chewning and she does not have the title. Said if the car is found or the title she would like to know.

Next someone could try to locate Ray Wolff of Hi-Performance son and see if he still has any of the business paperwork stored away that would show a sale of the car in 1971.

 I've also heard others have already tracked down his (Ray Wolf) son.

 I'm not aware if that revealed anything or not.

Under that bulging hood is an internally stock 4.6-liter, SOHC three-valve V-8 treated to a Ford Racing Power Pack, which kicks the horsepower rating from 300 to 325.

 Torque increases by 10 pound-feet.

 

I have a 2006 Saleen S281 with the 4.6 3-valve that they tweaked with a tune, pullies, exhaust, CAI, etc.  I have to say it is the least impressive V8 Mustang I have ever driven. They are gutless. It's an awesome car to drive, handling is exceptional, ride is super, massive brakes and looks amazing. But HP leaves a lot to be desired.

Person owns a copy of the car's California Vehicle Registration from 1969.




 

Try Googling Morrison's car.  Was NOT owned by JM at all, but the studio or his management firm.

For removing rust with agricultural molasses, the common ratio is 1 part molasses to 9 or 10 parts water, though stronger mixes like 3:1 or 5:1 (water:molasses) are also used for faster results, often with hot water to help dissolve it, requiring soaking for days or weeks depending on rust severity, then scrubbing and rinsing well to prevent flash rusting.

Greetings and New Years felicitations SAACkers,

After well over two plus decades of being the Leader of the Great State of Florida, the time has come for me to retire.

But that does not mean that I won't be on the forum just transfering the responsibilities of coordinating  EVENTS to.

These years here have been made wonderful and memorable thanks to our Florida teams participation and antics.

 I am truly proud of what we have been able to accomplish together. 

The non stop Florida events, the Fund Raisers, the annual Mecum, Barret Jackson excursions, the annual family picnics get togethers, the Annual local Shelby event, the tracks, team building non car events, the Covid Runs, the parties, BBQs, the cruises, the movies, baseball and football games etc.

The only region to have their very own proprietary shirts revised and updated THREE times during our run.

Then the special people who made this Region so dynamic Juan, Big Al, Luis "MM", Frankie, Alfo, the Hector's.

Hector V and Hector M, the phenomenal J. C. , Mr. T , "JaMonki", Ernestonga, the incredible Uncle Luis, Manny,  the Shelby Encyclopedia Mr. Skippie McAllister, Frankie, Don Rolopongo, Joe, Teddy, Alex and forgive me those that I forgot to mention.
 
Very special thanks to Dan Reiter that guided us through the first years.

And to also our fearless leader The Great Rick Kopec and his great telephone talks molding and instructing us from a far.

I do not know who will have the responsibility to guide this truly unique vibrant and alive Region but wishing you the very best on your new endeavors.
