If there is anyone near the Detroit area who can checkout a Shelby for me?  It's a pretty unique situation I guarantee you will find very interesting.  I don't need a full pre purchase inspection, just someone to take some pictures for the love of Shelby's.

Thanks,

Brian

Where is Abby from NCIS when we need her?

Wow Eric, you really grew up with that car.  Pretty cool.

Obviously, that was tongue in cheek.  But it is still interesting. Maybe with it being the 50 th anniversary of the '68s, that's where sellers/buyers heads are?  Ruben mentioned to me that he noticed a pretty nice up tick in selling prices for '68s at Mecum.

Does anyone else find it interesting that there seems to have been no 1967's for sale at both Barrett Jackson and Mecum auctions this January?  Perhaps 1967's are becoming hyper-collectable, bypassing 1966's, 1965's and dare I say even Cobras in value?  They've become so valuable that literally no one wants to sell one.

I believe they are relaunching this forum in steps.  First is this new format, including the improved photo hosting and ease of use.  After all calms down from that, I have no doubt further effort will be put into salvaging previous threads.  I think we have to just continue to be patient and appreciate all that Ron and the team have done so far.  God knows I wouldn't want that job.  :)

Can I ask what car no it is?  That has to be the only 'red light' car I've ever seen with outboards!

Ok JD, since you asked.  Here is a car I'm pretty sure you're familiar with...In case anyone here doesn't know, a few months ago I was lucky enough to purchase No. 26, an early GT350, from my very good friend JD.  He knew how much I really loved 'red light' 67's and after selling car no. 83, he offered me this beautiful car.
