Quote from: Road Reptile on February 07, 2026, 08:51:51 AMHi Brian,
I would think that U.S.P.S would do a check and find who is currently on file as a first step.
Computer search shows Nippon Cargo Airlines so maybe they would forward it to Vegas???
Much has changed since the 2 Hangers of the 1965-67 era. If we could only time travel.
What is the story behind the key chain?? Looks interesting.
R.R.

I picked it up a few years ago off eBay.  I also have a Pewter blank back one also.  If I remember correctly, this bronze address keychain was given to '65 GT350 owners and 427 Cobra purchasers while the pewter blank back was available through the Shelby accessories catalog.  I'm probably going to be selling them shortly if anyone is interested.

I wonder who is even renting that address these days?

BaT has become such a sitcom to watch.  I love the eye candy but can't stand the comments from all the crazies out there.  It seems people want cars like these, most can't afford them or can't justify spending the money so they make negative and disparaging comments.  Like that makes any sense...

Yes, this is THE uber rare vintage Shelby collectible that everyone who owns a 1965 Shelby GT350 knows about.  It is an original, unsent 1965 Shelby GT350 post card.  If you collect Shelby memorabilia, than you know what this is.  What makes it even better is it came in a Tasca Ford envelope with an enclosed business card from High Performance Parts Specialist Glenn Tiberiis.  Tasca Ford of East Providence, RI.

Tasca Ford, the home of the Cobra Jet and seller of many 'golden age' vintage Shelbys is one of the best know dealerships from back in the day.  Check out the back of the envelope, it has a full color depiction of the Tasca Ford Dealership.  So cool!  If you own a Shelby from Tasca, or just ever dreamed you did, this is your opportunity.  You probably won't get another chance to purchase such a fine example again.  This item comes from a non-smoker's home and well known vintage Shelby memorabilia collector.

(Please note: the image has been obscured to thwart counterfeiters, the real item does not have a yellow star, lol.  item is located in Chapel Hill, NC.  Shipping available.)

Price: $3,500.00

Does anyone know what hotel is the 'host hotel' for SAAC 51?

Bill, so that's what you've been up to.

Call me crazy, but I think someday it will turn up.  To all the nay sayers, just think 'Lil Red'.

Also, we still have a few left if anyone missed buying one the first time around.

I was thinking of making an alternate cheesecake version for the 21 and over crowd.  You know, shots of under the hood, headlights and especially the tail pipe views.  Of course, they would be more expensive.

But seriously, thanks guys. I'm glad you like them.

Wow, Ai is truly going to take over the world.  I asked Google's Ai and it gave me a website to look up the '2000' code (02000) and it came back as Downtown Ford, yeah!

This is the website FYI.

I picked up this California black plate about 8 years ago.  The guy sold it to me via eBay, and said he wasn't sure where he got it, but that it was on his garage wall for 30 plus years. Can anyone help me identify which dealer it corresponds with?  Having the Downtown Ford ring on it, obviously doesn't mean it's from there, but it would be cool if it were.

I did research that black plates were originally used in California from 1963 to 1969, the golden years in our hobby.
