1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: '69 Convertible Emblem

Is the illustration a Ford document and do we know whether the emblems were meant to be glued on or pinned.

It looks like the 2nd pic. of the 350 vert. in Brussels does not have the rear qtr. emblems-or am I missing it in the shadows?  Is there any written authority on the subject-maybe some pics/written info. in the Registry or elsewhere?  It seems that it may go either way-is there a point reduction one way or the other if being judged.

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / '69 Convertible Emblem

Did the '69 convertible come from the factory with the snake emblem on the rear portion of the quarter-or elsewhere.  I have a factory brochure for the '69 Shelby and the picture it shows of a blue convertible does not show any emblem anywhere on the quarter.

1969-1970 Shelby GT350/500 / '69 350 Fan Blade

Is the 5 blade fan correct for a '69/350 auto w/o ac-or put another way, would it have been standard as part of the extra cooling package.

So a little more info. just came in from my shop.  When we turn the wiper switch clockwise 1 click, we get the low speed.  When we click it 2x clockwise, we get the high speed-both expected.  When we turn the switch counter clockwise 1 click, we get the first delay speed.  But when we continue to click counter clockwise (I'm told it will click another 6/7 times), the delay speed does not change.  What are we missing?  Thx. for the help.

Let me try this a different way-for a '69 350 w/ the factory intermittent wiper option (which is in place and working), I'm try to verify the following: there is a low speed and high speed.  Is there only 1 intermittent speed or more than one.  Thx.

Is there any literature/trouble shooting info. available on the intermittent wiper option for a '69 350/vert.  How many speeds should there be etc.  Thx.

Was the tilt away option standard on either the '69 or '70 cars and, I was surprised to learn that no records exist for the intermittent wipers-at least on a Marti?

2 quick points b/c I did the math with the shop I use.  A shop that, btw, does a bunch of high quality Shelby work: to maintain the car as a roadworthy and correct "survivor/driver", it's 134k plus the bat fee of 5k plus tax (if applicable-something only the buyer and seller will ever know) plus we figured another 15-20k for the work.  Let's call it a conservative 160k w/o tax, registration and insurance.  To restore, add at least another 100k.  Now, maybe the buyer doesn't care about value and equity and that's perfectly fine.  But, for those that do, neither scenario made much sense.  The car was what we call a tweener...

Agreed Pete-pic 189 is troubling as well.  And agreed that the stabilizer plate was removed for either of the 2 reasons noted above.  All in all, not too too bad.  We asked for some add'l pics. on BAT and also inquired about why the car had a scatter shield in place of the factory bell housing?  Could it have been raced...

For the record: not a shop that I own and operate but rather one that I use to service my cars and inspect those for sale/at auction.

My shop picked up on the frame, floors and torque.  Looks like someone had fun with a trowel and a 6 rack of Bud.  The plate and exhaust are next on their list.  Stay tuned for answers/insight from the seller-or not.
