Does the cable come apart from the mast assembly? Thanks Bob.

Can just the mast be replaced with a reproduction or does the entire assembly and cable have to be replaced? Thanks

And I believe that is for a Boss 302 or 351. 428 CJ is less rpm. So you might ask on the Boss forum.

I put quarters between the coils, then install spring, then remove quarters one at a time. I always remove the seat, and sometimes the instrument cluster and fresh air vent.

Well it hasn't gone so well. I think the rest will stay under the carpet.

Color? 500 or 350? Auto or 4 sp?

Thanks for all the advice. I'll look behind the instrument cluster too. This is a1971 429 CJ Mach 1 so not sure if they were put there like 1968 Shelbys. I'll let yall know how it goes...

I finally started work on my high school car purchased in 1975. It's all original. I should have retrieved the build sheet a long time ago. Any advice on getting it unstuck from the carpet and floor? Thanks.
