Includes official 1990 Palm Springs Road Races program, Gala Dinner & Celebrity Roast program with dinner table card, 1990 Palm Springs Road Races Poster signed by the artist, 80-page photo album with prints of the event, the cars at the hotel, the track and the car show/auction = 240 print photos including one Shelby portrait at the hotel - taken out of my camera on film. No idea where the film is. This is the only set of these prints. Lots of interesting cars, many Cobras, Devin SS, Corvettes, Ferraris, De Tomaso, etc. All items and photos in excellent condition. Poster is near mint. I attended the dinner roast. ~ 100 people or less, maybe only 50 so these things must be pretty scarce, especially as a set. A memorable evening with Gurney and other celebrities doing the roasting - Brock, Phil Hill, Chris Schenkel, Duntov, Morton, Bondurant, Iacocca, others. Includes the one print portrait photo of Shelby. Also photos of the car show and auction nearby. The rules say I have to include a price so I'll throw out $500 for all+ packing and shipping. Includes the laser-cut Lexan tribute art. #002 of #500.

Only 4 photos are allowed here. Contact me through this site or TXT 650.218.7614 for more of the photos and pages of the programs. Or view them on my SmugMug site. Use this link. https://harveysherman.smugmug.com/Shelby-Tribute-Palm-Springs/n-Sm6WRR/. I set this up so only people with the link can find it.

SAAC-46 / Additional SAAC 46 Photos
August 20, 2021, 12:34:30 AM
Some people asked about photos. I shot everything I could that moved on the track and about half of the drag races until I could no longer lift the camera. https://harveysherman.smugmug.com/SAAC-46. There are thousands of photos including 750 parage laps. I was the photographer on the K-Wall top of turn #2 shooting the Vintage Race through the photography window in the fence when the #10 Daytona spun and stopped backward against the wall across from me. I looked at him. He looked at me. We paused for a moment. I wondered, "What is he thinking?" I thought "What the heck? What am I here for?" I raised the camera and took his photo. I could have reached across the wall and touched the nose of the car. Yikes! I posted the photos on my website.

I'm told somebody has a video of the spin posted and I'm in it. The guy with the safari hat. Anybody know where I can find it?

I think Ditto (GotBlueMilk) only photoed the track cars of the drivers who told him they wanted to buy them. I photographed everything that moved including the parade laps. I took thousands of photos. I posted them on my website - https://harveysherman.smugmug.com/ :) :)

I am the photographer with the safari hat who was shooting at the K-wall through a photography window in the fence top of turn #2 when the #10 Daytona Coupe spun in the vintage race and stopped backward right across the wall from me. I posted the photos in the "Vintage Race" gallery on my site.
