I have some original leaf '66 springs that need a slight tweak on the arching.  Anyone know a place on the US east coast that still does this kind of work?

Thanks

Looking for an original 65-66 fastback interior belt molding center joint.  This is the small piece above the trap door opening where the 2 metal moldings come together.  Held on with a single oval head chrome screw.

Thanks

SAAC-50 / SAAC50 Concours Results
August 28, 2025, 02:06:19 AM
We had a great concours at SAAC-50, 23 total cars registered, the highest number I can remember for at least the past 10-15 years.

The concours location was on the far end of the paddock by the tree line.  We had a cordoned off area and 2 20x20 tents.  Lots of positive comments.

Every class was represented, we had at least one car in Shelby(65, 66, 67, 68, 69-70), Cobra, Boss, Survivor and Competition.

Results-

Survivor:
1966 GT350  Kevin Blair - Gold
1967 GT350  Britton Whitworth - Gold

Competition:
1966 Ford GT40  Peter Klutt - Gold
1966 Cobra  Peter Klutt - Gold

Division I - Concours, no repro
1968 GT500 Convertible  Don Bell - Premier
1969 Boss 429  Drew Alcazar - Premier

Division II - Concours, repro allowed
1964 Cobra  John Friesen - Gold
1965 GT350  Dave Riccitello - Gold
1965 GT350  Rich Goldman - Gold
1965 GT350  John Dwyer - Gold
1965 GT350  John McClintlock - Silver
1966 GT350  Michal Querio - Gold
1966 GT350H  Ben Wagoner - Gold
1966 GT350H  Alan White - Bronze
1967 GT500  Peter Klutt - Bronze
1967 GT500  Dan Weltman - Gold
1968 GT500KR Convertible  Kenneth Funk - Silver
1969 GT500  John Warren - None (Late entry, evaluation provided)
1970 Boss 302  Drew Houghton - Bronze
1970 Boss 429  Dennis Murfin - Premier

Many thanks to all the owners that brought their cars, it was a most excellent line up of concours cars!  Also, many thanks to all of our judges and those that assisted this year!

Concours Talk / SAAC50 Concours
July 27, 2025, 12:30:30 AM
We're less than a month away from SAAC50!  Concours registrations are doing well.  We have representation for every class except for 69-70 Shelby.  I know there has to be some really nice 69-70's that would represent well for that class!  Spread the word if you know of any owners that would be interested in bringing their car!

So far we have:

1965 GT350 - 5
1966 GT350 - 5
1967 GT350/500 - 3
1968 GT350/500/500KR - 2
1969-70 GT350/500 - 0
Cobra - 2
Boss - 2
Competition - 1

There's a mix of Div 1/2 and survivor's above

Should be a great showing of high level cars.

Also, anyone that would like to volunteer to help with judging, please send a PM here and I'll get you on the list.  We are mostly covered for 65-66, but could use some volunteers for 67, 68, Boss and Cobras.

Looking for a nice pair of original rear interior quarter panels for 65-66 fastback.  The large ones.  Prefer with no deep scratches or broken areas and no speaker holes cut.

Thanks

Nice original E6 (May, 1966) dated C5OE FoMoCo harmonic balancer.  No issues, a cleanup and paint is all it needs.    $750 plus shipping.

NOS instrument cluster for a '68.  Very nice overall, plastic chrome is one of the best I have seen.  There are some imperfections in the black painted areas as shown which could be touched up.  This one has the back side painted black, originals usually were white.  Otherwise, exactly like an assembly line piece with FoMoCo molded numbers and chrome edge around the bright lights indicator.

$1k, shipping included to US address

Appreciate any help with finding these last few bits for a March '65 LAX arrival car:

-Original door latch strikers dated 1 65 or 2 65 (as long as they're not beat up or worn out, I can get replated)

-NOS '65 standard mustang gas cap

-3939S fuel pump, date not important, but December '64 through Feb '65 would be nice

-Rear shock backing plates with minimal to no pitting

-Front to rear battery cable with clamps

-Rear Koni shock round dust covers

-M4, A5 or B5 dated hi-po harmonic balancer (I have a very nice E6 one to trade?)

Thanks!!

I'm working on a '65 GT350 with racing history and had some extra welds made around the rear axle housing perches and other modifications.  I won't be able to grind the areas down and re-weld like original as the perches are damaged too much.  Does anyone know a source for exact replacement perches?  I found Moroso aftermarket, but the shape is different and they're a little more narrow than original.  Maybe the only option is to cut some off a donor housing, like an 8"?

Concours Talk / Non-adhesive wire tape source
February 11, 2025, 12:33:50 AM
Anyone know a source for non-adhesive wire tape, 3/4" black?

Specifically looking for 7 mil thickness.  Lots of the thin 2-3 mil out there, but the original tape was thicker.  It makes a difference in the appearance.

I found adhesive tape in the same spec, but would be a bit tedious to remove the adhesive.

This is the type of tape used on engine bay harnesses.

Need a nice used original hipo balancer, 4M, 5A or 5B dates.  Ok if it needs to be rebuilt, but need it to have minimal to no pitting and none to minor hit marks.

Thanks!

Looking for a nice original '65 9" rear housing, correct type with tapered tubes.  Prefer one that hasn't been damaged/welded on, no heavy pitting.

Helping a friend with an Unrestored low mileage '68 KR.  The PCV system was removed and unfortunately didn't come with the car, he does have an NOS PCV valve.  Prefer decent original parts, original paint would be great.  Need the hoses/clamps and metal tubing.  I believe he also needs the intake fitting that the metal tubing screws into.

Looking for a decent original set of black '68 mustang/shelby convertible sun visors.
