Hello all;

I am restoring a 1966 GT350 Carryover and I need a couple of parts to make the car complete. 

This is a concourse restoration of a very original car.

I need one rear Koni shock, part number 82-1327 with a 4-65 date. 

I also need a drivers side rear brake backing plate, which is the early style with a 49295 number.

Any help or leads are appreciated.

Hello all;  I know this is a longshot, but I am on the hunt for an original 1966 Shelby rear package shelf.  I am restoring an original rear shelf car (a carryover 66), and would love to find an original shelf.   Thank you in advance.  I can be reached at 5419736211 (Oregon).

I posted last November that I am in need of a pair of Hi Po 289 heads (Sept.,1966), for a two-digit 67 GT350.  I was given some help from a few members (thank you!) and am now widening my search to include July or August of 1966 dates.  Any leads would be appreciated.  My good friend is about to start the restoration and has the original block, but is lacking a pair of cylinder heads.

Hi all;

Working on a 66 Carryover car, and noticed a slight interference between the front sway bar and the strut rods, as well as the front frame rail on one side, where the rail is notched.  At first, we thought maybe we had a 67 sway bar on there, but after a lot of research, we are convinced that we have the correct 65 - 66 1 inch sway bar.  The bar barely hits, but it is enough to make noise.  After some research, we also learned that there was at least one Shelby that went back for warranty repair, to correct sway bar interference with the frame rail, and a ride height adjustment as well (which would help this issue).  This car has the original hi po front coils in it (I cleaned them and found the reddish-brown stripes on them).  I have two questions for the group;  first, has anyone had these problems, and second, who was the original supplier of sway bars to SA?  Thanks in advance for the help.
