Ask a Registrar / Promotional Mustang Question

What did a Promotional Mustang mean, was it a showroom floor mustang ordered by the dealer very early to get attention on the new Mustang year after year.  I was told 196 mustangs were promotional cars.  Please advise

What is the correct factory casting numbers on the front and rear autolite shocks for
1970 Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet R code 4speed build 10 Sep 69 in New Jersey.

What I'm finding is 18045 front.    18080 rear
Not exactly sure,,please assist
