This Ford 427 FE side-oiler V8 was built by Holman-Moody in the late 1960s and is said to have been installed in a 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 in 1970. The seller states the car and engine remained in storage for around 36 years before the engine was removed and rebuilt by Holman-Moody circa 2012. Jimmy Tucker reportedly carried out both builds at Holman-Moody.

I am still looking for a quality 1967 GT500 or GT350. If you have a car you are interested in selling, please feel free to reach out to me. I would like to replace the Shelby I had a few years back and now have an extra spot in the garage to put it.

Did anyone see/hear what the sales price was on the 67GT500 that is selling/sold at Vicari Auction in Biloxi. It was Car #3139. Wimbledon White. Original Automatic car, converted to 4 speed. Not original eng/Trans.

I sold my 67 GT500 a few years ago and am kicking myself for doing so. That being said, I would like to purchase another 1967 Shelby GT500 to replace the one I sold.
