My original harness on left (not any good) has a single ground to back of alternator case. New harness I purchased from Dead Nuts, has a 2nd ground to engine block. I dont if the original harness was changed in the past, I just want to make sure the new harness is correct.

Have what appears to be a replacement tank for 69 GT 500 has a date that appears to be 1-20-83 armco stamp. Number on top of tank C9ZZ-9002-A. Were there 2 different manufacturers of tanks, I thought they had the USS trademark stamp?

Was the texture from the taillight panel replicated on the end caps as well or were the just painted semi gloss black to match? June 69 build

I have seen 2 69 Gt 500's this weekend and have a question in regards to markings on the upper shock mount (see attached) there is a blue dot on the outer side of the mount, is that correct for big suspension vehicle?

Has anyone had any luck soaking the entire4 axle in Evaporust bearings and all? The face of the axle and the axle itself are pretty rusty from sitting but didn't know if the Evaporust would hurt or damage the axle bearing?

Looked in search, I am looking to see if anyone has any info on the screw for the ground for the trunk lamp.

Also is it the same acrew for the lamp on the decklid.

AMK lists one for 1969 but doesn't say it is for a Shelby

Bought this about 30 years ago, is this a  correct starter solenoid for 69 gt 500 built in June. Attached picture shows some type of wedge or "T" between both posts, others I have seen do not have this.

Is the inside area of an original decklid smooth or textured? Some photos I have taken over the years has shown both.

Purchased an original hood and started stripping. Appears to be original paint, have a question about the rear grille grates. Were the rear grates held in by epoxy? There is a small repair I need to do on the underside, strip and repaint.

Found original trunk wiring, where under dash or a pillar does this lead plug into?

 Were the screws holding the valance then painted body color also? I thought it was "hung loosely " didn't know at that point what that entailed?

General question. 69 GT 500 was built originally with am radio. PO changed radio to am-fm, correct door speakers, etc.
Did the door wiring come with speaker harness originally or would that have been changed also?
Basically I am asking if the door harness for lights and radio is the same regardless of stereo or am radio?

Looking for original bumper shroud 69 Gt 500 might be called a fog light bracket that the fog lights attach to between the headlight buckets.

Disassembled tilt column to finish correctly. It appears at one point the column has shifted,moved or collapsed.
1) Is there a way to determine if the shaft is OK?
2) are the shafts supposed to move in and out of themselves? Picture 2, red arrow, shows shaft has moved at least 1 - 1 1/2 inches.
3) can it be disassembled and checked, I don't see any plastic pins or sleeves and when I use a pick in the outer shaft holes I feel solid steel on the other side?

Does anyone have the fastener info that holds the 2 side scoops on a fastback through the scoop into the brackets

Was there some type of sealant used to attach these to the inside of the quarter panel? Or were they just attached with the outside anchor pieces?

Passenger side windshield pillar molding, prefer white but will accept any color. 69 gt 500, no cracks or repairs please.

Does anyone have any pictures of how far the outer rear wheel well sealer/ coating went out to the wheel well lip? I researched the "Dearborn undercarriage article" and it shows a very small patch at the top center.
