I use a Power valve gasket between filter and adapter.

Lemans bowls are npt, never overtighten as it isn't needed and only wears out the threads.

I have yours pulled.
They are in a bin in the machining room.
Just ran out of time.

No sir.
Wish I had the time/energy/inventory to do so, but I am 0 for 3

6 or 7 lemans bowl race carbs restored, tested, and ready to bolt on.

List 2919, 3 3255s, and 2 3255-1 carbs.
I also have a set of BK/BJ carbs tested.

Anyway folks here randomly ask me if I have any of these available.
This is for the most part what I have, so I restored them all. I don't have any more inventory and doubt I will again, so if you need one, check the link.

If you hit me up in the next 3-4 days I can alter them to suit your engine, otherwise they'll get boxed up.

Thanks
Drew

Name doesn't ring a bell, but sometimes people fill out my work request stuff with a different name.

If I restored it, email me or whatever and we can work through it.

If I didn't, honestly you should contact the builder, it's kinda on them to walk you through this.

I can still help via msg, first thing to do is set mixture hot.
Lotsa folks do it cold and wonder why engine doesn't perform as expected hot.

Wow.

So no one here adjusts the curve on their mechanical advance.

Quote from: trotrof1 on July 30, 2025, 03:45:54 PMHave you ever seen a clean real 66 minus a tach? A gorgeous blonde, a Ford product, Throw in aged Bourbon and a machine gun and the lefties would be positively suicidal. Heck Im just thrilled it wasn't a Vette.

There has already been some negative comments about the commercial.  I do not understand how those folks can be upset by a commercial.  More important events worldwide.

Honestly this is a modern problem.
.001% of the population complains about something loudly and 100% of the "starved for content" media amplifies it.
Same idea when 12 people protest something and camera angles and the media story makes you think they are burning down the city in protest.

No one really cares. Talking more about it tends to just give it power.

I don't sell that sort of thing as I save them for customer work.

Ask the experts here about sizing. I've only had one person request the 5/16 for a GT500.
As you know, I'm not exactly a Shelby expert, so I leave that deliberation up to others.

And yes Bob, the ones I have are from Weatherford, most of them have the original W and name stamped on them.

I've got a handful of originals but I'll need to be home to find them if it's "that kinda car."
