Thank you all for taking the time to help with your responses. I am somewhat versed on the 69/70 BOSSES but have very limited time on the early cars, especially a Shelby. If you are saying that the insert should have tabs to hold it in place, this car does not, so as Bob says it has the lesser reproduction.

Thanks for the photo JD, nice to see how the original should be.

Thank you Roddster for your clarification on what to do, Those were my thoughts but needed a little affirmation to push me that way. I will try to figure something out about the wait time on holding the panel until the glue dries :) a. Thanks all, Mike G.

What would be the best way to re-attach the brushed aluminum insert on a 1967 Shelby door panel? The backside has a dried yellow glue film. Thank you in advance for any suggestions. Mike G.

My apologies. I jumped in while overlooking the years in question. I would be better off going back to lurking in the back ground and enjoying the posts :) :) :). Mike G.

It is the full Ford vin that is on the registration sticker that is on the cars windshield, not the Shelby vin. So both vin #s are out there for all to see. Mike G.

67GT350 made a great point. In NY the NYS registration sticker that is on the windshield next to the state inspection sticker has the full manufacturer's vin # out there for all to see. You cannot even black it out because that would be a ticket for sure. Mike G.

Up For Auction / Re: 1969 GT350

This car was for sale in Long Island approximately 10 years ago at an estate sale. Same shape as it is now. The craftsmanship was sub par then and I cant see it having been approved upon since then. It was just recently bought from another guy here in the spring then put on Craigslist and sold again in the beginning of this July. One would really have to inspect personally before committing to such a purchase. Not trying to bash the car on an open forum it. This is just from my observations. Mike G.

Sorry I am trying to resize picture. Can anyone tell me the correct size that works?

How much did it sell for? Mike G.
