Wanted to Buy / Re: Yellow top coil
January 15, 2026, 12:00:29 PM
Tim,
I have nine coils and none of them have a 9 on the date...!??   I do have one that is blank, but I would want to give it a critical eye and test the spark before saying it (or any of them) are good.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: GT-500 intake questions

Hello RR,
That is mostly the plan as I now have a "Shelby" version of this (mid-rise) manifold, and I do not own a '67 GT-500 car.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / GT-500 intake questions
December 21, 2025, 11:23:09 AM
Hello,
Pictured is (what I have thought) is an original manifold.  Plenums are original and not cut.  Casted this way!  Why are most I see not like this one?

Hello,
Is there some stamped #'s on the side of the trans case.   Perhaps a model #?

Hello,
You don't happen to know the gear ratios, do you?   What rear end is in the GT-500 this trans came from?

Well, Well, Well...
I was not aware of this feature.   Maybe these radiators are originals then.   I have been thinking otherwise all these years.   Thanks for the info.

Hello from San Diego,
I have several "warranty" or "dealer service replacement" radiator cores.   All are WMO if I remember correctly.   These have NO part # stamped on the outer straps!   If interested contact me privately with a cell # and the top tube and bottom tube configurations and I will send some pictures of what I have.     These were all pulled from wrecked Mustangs 25+ years ago and stored in my shed from the weather...

Quote from: Coralsnake on July 16, 2025, 03:52:56 PMYes, it was. X denotes the 390 premium fuel 2 barell car. When you see that code you will think its something special!

The "X-code" 390's are somewhat special.  Most came with competition suspension, and the carb is a 500 cfm unit, and the exhaust manifolds are not the "GT 390" ones, and the heads are different with smaller combustion chambers.  They are all auto cars!   Worked on a couple in the past here in So Cal.
