I still have not been able to get a hold of the owner to 6S1206.  Any help would be appreciated.  -evan

Gents,
Wanted to let you know the HiPo Registry is now open to 1965-1967 Shelby GT350 owners who wish to register their HiPo 289 cars into an online registry. It is free.  Memberships available too.  We do not require GT350 owners to provide the Ford VIN, just the Shelby VIN.  We just rolled over 100 entries and are growing every day.  But we didn't want to leave out the sexiest car to come out of the 1960s--the Shelby GT350 (my opinion). 6S1431 is our first Shelby GT350 entry!

Don't forget:  if you are looking for a long lost vin stamped 289 block or even a vin stamped toploader, I have an database of nearly 600 VINs and want to help you find your missing motor/toploader for your kcode.

Check it out and let me know if you have any recommendations to improve the registry.

Gents,
In conjunction with Howard Pardee, I've found three 65-66 Shelby GT350 motors this year and linked them up with the owner of the GT350.  If you are looking for a long lost engine, please reach out to me.  I have a database of over 550 K-code vins and it continues to grow.

Additionally, if you own a non shelby vin stamped motor for a 65-66 mustang, please reach out and even get it registered at the new hipo mustang registry at hipo-registry.com

Quote from: Steve McDonald Formally known as Mcdonas on December 17, 2025, 04:55:23 PMAll these great stories make me believe that I can eventually get the original block for 6S1431. Did have contact with the current alleged owner of the block awhile back but he dropped of the face of the earth.
It's in southern California. I only need the block and main caps, I got everything else I need (Crank, rods, camshaft, etc).

Contact me, I might be able to help you.
