1969 / 70 N.O.S. Blue Strip Kit in the FORD Box. This kit was purchased in 1976 for SN#482881 and has been stored in a controlled environment since day one. It's in perfect condition and not cracked or damaged in any way. It's still pliable to unroll for the photos and roll back into the box.
I'm currently restoring 2881 back to original CandyApple Red from Wimbledon White and won't need this kit any longer. I purchased a Gold kit simultaneously anticipating the possibility of retuning the car back to its original color and that kit was used and perfect. 650.00 or best.

Offered here is a C4AW 4025 B H.D. 4 rib housing with the SPEC casting in place of the date code. These hard to find SPEC cases are typically found in 67/68 GT500 cars and some special performance vehicles.
This 3rd member was professionally assembled with a NEW 3.50:1 (35-10) U.S.A. 8620 performance gear set.
Also included is a NEW Steel case (not cast) FORD 31 SPLINE TRAC LOC differential with all NEW TIMKEN bearings and National seal. The correct C5AW 4665 B Daytona pinion support is a large bearing with a NEW Ford 1330 tall pinion yoke. Assembled with a solid spacer @ 16 lbin of preload without the seal. All the castings were glass beaded to bare iron and washed after all machined surfaces were lapped and checked for flat. They were painted with Glyptal and correct red oxide exterior finish.
T.I.R. on the gear and case is +/- .002" and backlash is @.010"
