I think that I will be in the outside paddock as an Open Track participate. It's next to the tower where all of the track guys will have to report.

The corner workers will report to the Tower if you get brain fade on the track.

I am signed up for the open track for one day. I have over 25 years of experience at Road Atlanta, and I think the track is especially dangerous for some possible rookie guys. There are plenty of YouTube videos to show the proper line

The best way to avoid an incident is to raise your hard before the bridge and enter pit road. You can go back out to another group.

The track was built for the Can-Am cars of 1970. It's a slow in; fast out track.

I apologize for not understanding these computer codes. I am not good on any computer.

I was sent an email about entering the SAAC dinner event. I had to enter the SAAC event over on MCA which was my only option due the motorregistry site (I get it since they have the legal track day forms). My entry there was approved.

How do I get tickets to the SAAC dinner? Where will it be? I am not in a hurry on these things as I understand that you are in the early months of this complicated plan.

I'd add that small tents are allowed for the size of a car. Be sure that it is strapped down to avoid high winds. A brief late summer thunderstorm can crop up anytime.

I find two SAAC 51 websites (the different code is saac51 and saac-51).

SAAC-51

I say SAAC is late summer while the 48th Walter Mitty is the end of the month.

I'd say that Road Atlanta (owned by NASCAR) has a paddock outside the track as well as inside the track.

I'd say the outside is better.

I think this will be the best Shelby place to be in 2026.

Thanks for the history. I think we met at MCA in Nashville and/or the MCA (25th, 9/2001) at Atlanta Dragway. I also attended SAAC at Watkins Glen but I was entered in the HSR Vntage Race.

I just registered on the MotorsportReg site. It is $375/day or $1000 for three days. I am in the advanced group. I may add Sunday at the event. I also have a room reservation at Chateau Elan. I am looking forward to seeing all the cars in the show.

Thanks,
I just signed it up for SAAC 51 Open Track.
BTW, this is my 18th Mustang. In my younger days, I would completely rebuild the older analog cars.

I drove it today for a 120 mile loop. It was great drive.

The old 2019 A/C worked well on a warm day. It's not just a modern one but one that always works well.

I get it with the big numbers. I mostly liked il of the numbers that still own a proper car.

Road Atlanta has a bunch of infield parking as well as ~outfield parking. The Road Atlanta crowd will enjoy all of the cars. I recommend parking outside the track with the showers and bathrooms.

This is not the only car event at Road Atlanta. They have the Petit LeMmans and many other vintage and modern car events.

I'd think most of the Concours will be here.

It's next year (2027)?

It was ordered Jan. 2019 and delivered on July 5th, 2019.

I bought new tires after using the stock ones at Atlanta Motorsport Park (in Dahlonega). That 'free' track entry cost me $1600 in tires.

I just changed the oil (10.5 quarts) and filters for the fourth time. I changed the battery due to its age. I checked the alignment in my garage. The FPC engine is great.
