I purchased the car from Fred Taylor. I agree I should be able to find pictures and the shelby numbers. But I made a move and apparently misplaced them......
I did find one on line that was exactly like mine but had been totally restored. I sent my friend those pictures and told him that it might or might not be the exact car. But, It was equipped just like the one i had. He was very happy with that outcome. I purchased the car for 12K then sold it for 17K. It sold recently for 198K. Not a very good financial move. :)

I owned a 1968 GT500KR convertible back in the early 1990s. Hiland green, four speed, black top. I only owned it a couple of years. I received a text from a young man that I taught in Sunday School back in the day. I let him used the car in a parade. He was so enamored by the car that he named his first child Shelby. Without going into a long story, that daughter past away. He had a picture of the car put on the tombstone. He contacted me last week and asked if I had a picture of the car. I can't seem to find a picture. I am tying to track the car a get a picture for him. I sold the car to Gary Garrison from Florida. Any help locating the car and getting a picture would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well, it looks like everyone who wanted to watch this u-tube video has probably pulled it up and watched it. I hope it put a smile on your face and a shiver in your heart.

Thanks 69mach351w for attaching the video. You may need to skip the u tube ad to get to the music.
I played this for a dear friend of mine who is eighty years old. He has been a ford, mustang and shelby guy all of his life.
I noticed a tear as he watched. Super Cool!!!

This might be old to most of you, but I just heard it and want to share it with the rest of you. Am I the last to know about this song sung by Johnny Rowlett?  I don't know how to attach, but look it up on u-tube if you have not heard it before.

Your right, I'm not in any hurry to get rid of it. It's been sitting in my shop a long time. Just cleaning up the shop and thought someone might be looking for one. Thanks

I guess this block isn't as desirable as I thought. Or, I have over priced it. Being a very early date code. (September 17, 1969.) Also being standard bore with pistons. Informative comments would be welcomed.
I am lowering the price to $6,500. Plus shipping costs
