Hello, for anyone interested in more pictures or discussion about the C3AE-6884-A Oil Filter adapter, please PM me at oldhunterguy@proton.me, thank you!

I am sorry, I really don't know. As I understand it, it was an option for the 427 CI engine in the full sized cars. It has a Ford casting/engineering number on it. I managed to figure out how to add a few pictures. Thanks for the reply!

These oil filter adapters were installed on 427 CI engines in full size Ford and Mercury cars from 1963 to 1967 as an optional Engine Warning System. This dual port adapter was used to report both engine pressure and temperature into the cockpit. The warning light under the dash would flash when the oil pressure was too low and was solid when the oil temperature was too high so one light reported both warnings. The one I have I bought used in 1967 and it had an adapter for a mechanical oil temperature gauge with it. I used it on my 1966 Fairlane 390 GT and was only recently removed. This oil filter adapter is in excellent shape and has the temperature gauge adapter with it. I no longer have the gauge itself. The internal corners were slightly radiused to smooth out the oil flow. This adapter is one of those rare pieces of automotive history and may be just the thing for the right guy. I am asking $455.00 plus $8.00 shipping. Pictures are available on request. Thank you!!

Parts For Sale / 68 Shelby GT500 carburetor for sale
February 23, 2025, 01:48:52 PM
I have a 68 Shelby GT500 carburetor for sale. The airhorn is stamped C8ZX-9510-A, List 4129 with date code 7A4. The metering blocks, jetting, power valve and needles and seats are all correct. I have had this carburetor since around 1980 and it was taken out of service sometime in the 70's. One could easily understand that it is in excellent condition! Everything is tight but moves smoothly and freely as it should. The carburetor was rebuilt a few years ago with new gaskets, o rings and power valve. I am asking $2950 plus shipping. Anyone interested can PM me at oldiebutgoodie@grandecom.net. Thank you!!
